Your Quinteroc rug is designed for durability and ease of care. Follow these simple steps to maintain its vivid colors and soft texture.

Routine Cleaning

• Vacuum Regularly: Use a low-power setting or one without a rotating beater bar to prevent fiber damage. Vacuum 1-2 times per week to remove loose dirt and maintain the rug’s soft surface.
• Shake Out: Periodically take the rug outside and gently shake it to dislodge fine dust particles trapped deep within the fibers.

Deep Cleaning & Stain Removal

• Spot Clean Immediately: Blot spills right away with a clean, dry cloth or paper towel. Do not rub, as this can spread the stain.
• Mild Detergent: For tougher stains, use a small amount of mild soap or detergent mixed with cool water. Apply to the stained area with a clean cloth, rinse with clear water, and blot dry.
• Machine Wash (Small Rugs Only): If the rug size allows, wash on a Gentle or Delicate cycle using cold water. Do not use bleach or harsh chemicals.

Drying & Safety

• Air Dry ONLY: Always hang or lay the rug flat to air dry. Ensure the rug, especially the anti-skid dotted backing, is completely dry before placing it back on the floor.
• NEVER Tumble Dry: Machine drying can damage the non-woven fabric and the anti-skid backing.
• Crease Removal: If the rug arrives with creases from shipping, these are not defects. Lay the rug flat and the creases will smooth out naturally within a few days, especially with regular use.
